Το ΗΛΙΟΤΡΟΠΟΝ δεν ευδοκίμησε, άλλαξε σύνθεση και μετονομάστηκε σε ΣΠΟΡΑΚΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΗΛΙΟΥ (ESPORAS DEL SOL). Τα Σποράκια του Ήλιου είναι το αρχικό concept των Ηλιόσπορων (www.iliosporoi.net) και το Ηλιότροπον είχε στηθεί πάνω σε αυτό.
Το όραμα παραμένει το ίδιο. Να στήσουμε ένα βιώσιμο κοινοτικό εγχείρημα αυτάρκειας και ανθεκτικότητας, εφαρμόζοντας στην πράξη οικολογικές και κοινωνικές καινοτομίες, καθώς και συλλογικές παραγωγικές διαδικασίες.

Self-Healing biotope
ESPORAS DEL SOL will be a community- hub focused on applied research, experimentation and demonstration of ecological and social innovations, by utilizing best practices and experiences from the European Transition Town, Ecovillage and Degrowth Networks.
ESPORAS DEL SOL will operate as a social non-profit cooperative with the purpose to research best practices, develop and apply a practical community- hub model, based on the principles of self-sufficiency, sustainability and resilience that could be transferred and applied in any European region.
Initial research will be realized in three focus areas: social (deliberative decision making, ownership and collective rights management, financing and local economic alternatives, school of self sufficiency and sustainability); environmental (energy autonomy from renewable sources, agro-ecology, zero waste, natural housing); and political (degrowth, social ecology, local institutions and democracy, global partnerships and networks).
